Grubs are the larvae stage of beetles, such as, Japanese Beetles, June Bugs and Masked Chafers. Grubs feed on grass roots, causing sections of grass to brown and die. They also attract hungry moles, raccoons and skunks, that will dig up your lawn to eat them. A preventative grub control application is recommended in late spring to early summer before grubs start to cause damage. Otherwise, a curative grub control can be applied in late summer, but this is usually after damage is already evident. Thomson Lawn Care provides both preventative and curative grub control.
